Work

We got home and had a good sleep... FINALLY!! The next day I woke up I got ready for work. We really needed groceries! I dropped Soda off at the Gas Station and went to the new house I was working on. A real pretty lady owned it... but, she was a Socs. I carried a lot of shingles up and down the ladders and could feel my muscles rippling! I was SO excited for the upcoming Rumble. The greasers were gunna kick BUTT!!! Literally. I probably gunna have to take a big BIG Socs guy but, of course i'll take em down! They don't call me "Muscles or Superman" for nothing!
I was almost done the roof when I saw Tim Shepard walk up. "Hey Darry!" He yelled "Hiya Tim, Whats up?" "The Socs just told we they don't want any weapons in the Rumble." "If they're gunna pledge to that." "Dally told me.... that Socs lady... Caherry is now our spy. She told him" "Oh... well, see you later Tim." "Yup." and he walked away. A skin only rumble. Perfect.

<3 Home <3

Now we were all back together. Pony, Soda and me. Finally. We've stayed here since Ponyboy arrived and have barely slept. Soda has been runnin' around the place like a kid in a candy shoppe! Hes been grabin' cameras off reporters necks and snappin' pictures of himself! The reporters love it though... like a celebrity taking there pictures for them! The nurses went Ga-Ga too! Man! Soda got all the special treatment! Dally of course, is threatening all the doctors and nurses with his switch blade cus' they ain't letting him smoke. He's normally crazy but, Johnny gettin' hurt made him go over the edge!
Today we get to go home though. I can't wait! I never thought I'd miss that pile of junk I call a house!

Now it's just a picture......

We found him

I was worrying as usual until I got a call. From the hospital. Aparently Ponyboy was caught in a BURNING CHURCH! I pray the lord will help my stupid brother. Why would he go into a burning church?! He could have died!! At least he did it to save other kids. They probably won't lock him up now. Or Johnny. Poor, poor Johnny. They say he won't make it. Dallys gunna blow. Hes gunna do something crazy again and we're all going to crumble. Everyone is falling apart. I just don't want them to leave. I don't want Ponyboy to leave agian... I don't want to fight with him. I just want to push it all away.

Is he home yet? Is he home yet? Is he home yet?

We are still waiting. Not patiently though. Darry said he was going to visit them today but, of course he didn't say where they were. Soda-pop wrote some mushy note... I didn't feel like writing one though.... I just hope Ponyboy is eating, drinking, sleeping, and doing something educational. Soda and I are still trying to sort out the whole problem. We've had to go into the police station and talk to the stupid cops who won't even take information from greasers.

I am seriously gunna kill Dally. Its killing ME enough not knowing where Ponyboy is. He ain't the one that killed the Soc.... he should be back at school!! I know the fuzz would'nt listen to us though. Even if we tried as hard as we could. Soda ain't in the best mood either... Sandy left him. She went off to Flordia to be with her Grandmother. Obviously becuase she has a baby comin. Poor Soda... he's crushed. He even wanted to marry the girl. I just wish things would go back to the way they were.

Hes gone........

I hit him. Hard.... to hard. I didn't know I hit him in till I saw my hand at his face. He fell into the door then, looked at me with those heavy green eyes and ran. I called but, he didn't call Why did I do that? Now he who knows where hiding from the cops because Johnny killed some guy.... will I ever see him again? This is all because of me! Sodapop is pacing and I'm typing furiously. Dallas just came over and filled us in but, he refuses to tell us where he hid them away. Ponyboy cannot lead the same life as Sodapop and I! He needs a future.... he needs to go to school and college or university. I'll never be able to see him working at a general store or a gas station. Maybe we should turn them in and fight for them in court... becuase it was just self-defense! But, no cop was going to listen to a greaser and take a greaser's side. We were at a dead end, he had to keep running.
